After hearing these original recording from 1932-1936 by BROWN & HIS MUSICAL BROWNIES, it's not difficult to acertain where BOB WILLS got his style, even down to the ah haaa's and other patter. WILLS, who early in his career played fiddle with BROWN(on which he appears on one of the tracks) was no doubt, facinated with him and took up where BROWN left off after his untimely death in a 1936 car crash.
