Featured are KITTY WELLS, WEBB PIERCE, LEFTY FRIZZELL, CARL & PEARL BUTLER, BILL MONROE, DEL REEVES, GEORGE HAMILTON IV, FARON YOUNG, MINNIE PEARL, SONNY JAMES, LITTLE JIMMY DICKENS, JOHNNY WRIGHT, MERLE KILGORE(EMCEE), DOTTIE WEST, BILLY WALKER, CONNIE SMITH, OLD JOE CLARK, BUDDY SPICHER, MERV SHINER, CURLY FOX, DELORES SMILEY, CLYDE SMITH, LAMAR MORRIES and introducing PAMELA HAYES. Special added attraction HOMER and JETHRO. While the Bowery Boys receive top billing they are mostly comic releif in very few skits. The movie primarly deals with country music when it was actually country in the early 60's and most of the artists herein perform at least two of their top hits of that period. If you're a fan of country music from that era or even if you're not , you won't want to be without this one. It's a real treat once more to see all of the country music greats at their zenith and in their prime. This is truly a collectible and the quality is top notch. Approximate running time 107 minutes.
