2009 release. NELSON and the group go way back for these gems. Some of them have been around since the late twenties and the early thirties and were made popular by the likes of BOB WILLS, MILTON BROWN & SPADE COOLEY as well as some of the old time pop icons. Even, the graphics with some duplication resembles a movie poster that starred BOB WILLS & THE TEXAS PLAYBOYS with cowboy star TEX RITTER titled GOING BACK TO OKLAHOMA sometime in the 40’s. Some historians, collectors and those past sixty five will remember it and while the music is excellent, it sounds a great deal like it did, when WILLS, BROWN and COOLEY performed it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to fans of western swing and jazz New Orlelans style complete with brass section. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
