2009 release. Overall, this is probably NICHOL’S best. All of course are RAY PRICE covers and not to take anything away from NICHOLS, PRICE is not a vocalist most would want to follow. Even so, NICHOLS is singing in a higher range and topping notes, that judging from some of his previous releases one might think he’d be unable to do, but not so, he belts’em out in his own inimitable style.
