This collection, originally released on cassette in 1994-95 titled PAPPY and the GOOD OLE' BOYS finds HAMEL in his element complimented by the SIDEMEN all of which are excellent musicians utilizing vibes, rythmn guitar, lead guitar, keyboards, stand-up bass, steel guitar, drums & violin played by the late GENE OCHITWA for whom this album is dedicated and who is featured instrumentally on SWEET SUE & PANHANDLE RAG. Other tracks include THAT'S WHAT LOVIN' MEANS, MOONLIGHT IN VERMONT, SAN FRANCISCO/I WANT TO BE AROUND TO PICK UP THE PIECES, ONLY TOMORROW KNOWS, PLEASE REMEMBER, DON'T CHANGE THE ROSE OF SAN ANTONE, THE WINE REMEMBERS, & I'LL NEVER FIND ANOTHER YOU.
